Live broadcasting couldn’t be any easier than it is with Vpype. “Tell you story to the world,” is Vpye’s slogan, and isn’t that what every expert advises non profits to do when they are communicating with their constituents through social media? Promote your next event with a Vpype broadcast on Facebook. Video brings your event to life. Personal stories have an immense impact on others.
Conference planners can use Vpype to promote their upcoming events. Create a short web show on the highlights of your conference. Ask a few of your presenters to hold a short Q&A before your event to increase engagement. Have a staff member review your tours and extra ticketed events on a special broadcast. Produce a video event checklist so that your attendees don’t forget to register for special events, or to bring specific items to your conference. Engage your attendees by holding a weekly promotion leading up to your event, for example, if you hold a scavenger hunt, give out a few video clues. Do a video countdown to your conference registration deadline listing the top ten reasons why potential attendees should attend. Put a link to your broadcast on your homepage. After your conference, create a “best of” web show. Send a video thank you note (vgreeting) to all your sponsors, volunteers and presenters. Be sure to use the Twitter and Facebook invite tool to promote your broadcasts.
Coming Soon: vConversation – “Create, share and answer questions with your friends. “ You can set up a scheduled time when a staff member will be live on Facebook to answer any questions about your organization.
Increase engagement with your conference attendees, and more importantly, thank them for all of their support. Let your creativity take off and enjoy this new Facebook application.
