By the time we meet together in November/December – “Understanding Change” – one of the main goals for this year’s elections, will be on the minds of everyone, including Congress. No matter who the next President will be, the Congressional Agenda for 2009 will be unfolding. As a result of the relationships NWA has established with key Members of Congress – the NWA conference will bring these key Members straight to you! Join us and participate in candid conversations about what the future holds, and seize the opportunity to provide your insights to these important policy makers. As you’ve come to expect, the array of nationally recognized personalities and speakers will focus on the issues that mean the most to you as a workforce board member, board director – or from your place as an industry / business leader or local elected official.
The 2008 conference will also provide the premier opportunity for NWA members to collaborate on current achievements and struggles, interact and network – in an intimate, relaxed and hospitable environment. Members will also have the opportunity to hear from the NWA President and CEO as they spell out the goals of the association for the coming year."
